Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Nasr Abdel-Wahab Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Salah Fathy Abdel-Aal, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, the Cultural Committee of the Faculty's Student Union and the "For Egypt" Family organized the "Geniuses" competition among the Faculty's students for the 2024/2025 academic year in its first round. Eight student teams participated, with the competition's rounds set to continue in the coming days.

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University, ranked first locally, in Africa and the Middle East, and 40th globally in the Spanish Scimago rankings for 2025.
